Chris Wallace On WEEI

Chris Wallace was on WEEI with Eddie and Dale, and the following was
uttered

- Wallace's role is to put all the options in front of Pitino - Do all
the leg work: salary cap, scouting, and then Pitino decides what option
to go with, after he presents the financial aspect of the deal to
Gaston.

- Eddie wonders why the women in the WNBA are better shooters than their
NBA
brethren. Wallace says it's a below the rim game, they're more
fundamentally
sound and not as spolied - He hopes they don't become spoiled.

- Wallace says the C's roster for the Boston league hasn't been
finalized:
Click Clack will be there; possibly Battie. Clack has to get into better
shape and "connect the dots" - put all the facets of his game together.

- Wallace thinks Potapenko will adjust to the rules changes - you need
strength
down low; plus Potapenko is more than a thug - he can shoot the 12 - 15
foot
jumper, and showed that in California.

- Wallace endorses Isiah buying the CBA; says the NBA needs a minor
league.

- Wallace said, if they had the eighth pick in the draft they would have
been
interested in Miller, Marion and Terry, but then they would have had to
go out
and find a center.

- August 1 is the day when the dam breaks and all the activity happens.

- Andleman says nothing would mean more to WEEI as the Celtics flagship
station
than a major trade - good or bad - Arnold says we prefer a good one....
