RE: Possibilities



He probably could not be much worse. Jeff Hornacek was a second round pick, 
and guys like Mario Elie, Avery Johnson, and Jaren Jackson castoffs who 
play key roles.  Mercer has never been a consistent scorer from beyond 18 
feet which makes him a major liability at the 2 spot.  If only we could not 
meld Dana Barros shooting with Ron's other talents. I think Pitino & 
Wallace are making & taking offers and will go for the best that does not 
involve Walker or Pierce, which there should be some pretty decent ones. He 
needs to be aggressive as the deal initiator as Jerry West is. Even deals 
that some times seem ludicrous, there is always a Don Nelson out there. 
 Maybe we can get Finley from him ?
