as much as i like Clack, Mercer has better shooting capabilities and
"range".  I've seen several games of the Longhorns on tapes and Clack seems
like a 2 guard who can only drive to the hoop and post up smaller
defenders...this kid has power and got the leaps though (Eric Williams type
but with tremendous defensive orientation).  The celtics already has too
many jump shooters and we might need power and slashers to get more fouls
from opponents.  IMO, he's a good pick considering the position we had in
the draft.  Mercer is really expendable in the sense that we need more
defenders and consistent lane penetration and foul baiting.

Outlaw and Armstrong are really our needs but unlikely to be traded to us.
I can only pray Orlando does a Nellie.
