Lawson

I really liked Lawson coming out of college -- he was an All America at Nova
-- but he was drafted very late, a second rounder, I believe, and he did
nothing at all on a Magic tam that was starting Dan Schayes by the end of the
season. His stats from last year are abominable. Also, Lawson is not very big
for the pros -- listed at 6'10, 240, which means he's technically the same
size as Battie. Lawson seems, to me at least, to be more of a real center than
Battie, but Battie might have a better upside. And anyway, didn't I see that
somebody had picked him up after Orlando cut him?

anyone else remember this kid from nova? well he's officially a free agent and
i'm not sure if he's been signed but i don't think so. i think he could help
the team on the boards and maybe be polished enough to be a descent center.
he's got alot of power and with some help on his footwork he could be an olden
polyniece or maybe even a brian williams
