I Can't Take This Much Longer.

Of course it goes without saying that Kenny is our PG for the
foreseeable future.  But I am pained and freaked out by what is going
on with this team's offense.  I realize it is early in the season and
that everyone is out of it, but I never thought that at this point in
my celtics career, after sitting patiently through the endless lockout
and being tantalized with those first two games against Toronto, that
I would be watching the same tortuous halfcourt offense of the billups
months, the same complaints about settling for outside shots, etc etc
etc.  I can understand Kenny being out of shape or shooting badly, but
I can't understand him not being able to run a fast break.  This was
the whole point of getting Kenny.  He was supposed to liberate us to
be a running team.  We were going to run, run, run, and that was the
essence of Pitino ball.  I am having a very hard time watching this
team play third rate half court offense and defense, and I am not
ashamed to say that I turned off the Vancouver game midway through the
fourth quarter.  I just couldn't watch.

I know you can't fastbreak without the ball, but there should be at
least a few of the fastbreaks we saw in the so-called exhibition
season.  What happened to the easy shots Kenny was going to get
Antoine?  Have they run a single pick and roll?  How long do I have to
watch Ron Mercer miss layups?  How long do I have to watch the Doug
Wests and Bo Outlaws of the world dominate us like Bill Russell or Mo
Lucas?  WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
