Why Schintzius Hasn't Played

He broke his nose again before the Orlando game,
and is going on the injured list to protect
himself from himself.  He wasn't wearing his
mask as he was practicing some post-up moves,
and the ball came off the boards and whacked
him squarely right in the nose.  Blood was
gushing everywhere. This guy is cursed...

The game against Sacramento should be an 
excellent showcase for the two top rookies.
The Sacramento small forwards: Williamson
and Stojakovic aren't exactly the second
coming of Pippen on the defensive end,
so Pierce should have a terrific game.  
However, with a defensive sieve like Anderson
playing him, Jason Williams, the Kings point
guard will probably light up the C's. And
while I think Pierce is the better player,
the fact that Sacramento will make the 
playoffs and that Williams plays a more 
important position than Pierce, may suffice 
to give him the nod for ROY.
