Currently rehabbing from ankle surgery that was done only a couple months
ago, L-O-N-G after the initial injury was not healing. Dunno where
geographically. No cap effect unless the Cs can show that he will definitely
not be able to play this season, apply for and receive (1/2 his salary) cap
relief for the season as a result. Last I heard, Pervis (via his agent)
wasn't entirely willing to write off the entire season.
