I understand what you are saying and to some extent agree; 
however, we've seen the results of the past two seasons and they 
haven't been very good. I guess if the Celtics were coached by an 
"average" NBA coach, I might not feel this way. My whole point is 
that Pitino--the $7,000,000/year Pitino--is supposed to be a special 
coach. As a result, I hold him to a higher standard, just as Antoine 
is held to a higher standard as opposed to someone like McCarty 
or Overton.
