You beef, moan and groan about his on court efforts and behaviour and then the players
you want on this team can be Sprewell or Rider? I'm sorry, I truly do not understand
your logic.

Would you rather have somebody on your team that gets themselves into a lot of trouble
off of the court, shows up to play when they feel like it and are generally known as
cancers over a likeable young man (or so his teammates seem to believe so and now Karl
Malone coming out with supportive advice destroying the theory of Walker being the most
hated player in the league), the teams choice as CAPTAIN (they could have chosen anyone,
not just AW ya know?). Sure his performances in the past two years have been bad, but,
on the whole his level of play is still comparable to the players you want to join the
Celtics.

Do you require perfection? Do you accept that Antoine Walker's behaviour is similar to
95% of people in our age bracket? That is what is 90s about him. The time of players
just coming in, hardly saying a word and playing out a game is not this era or why else
do you think people truly fall in love with the three top rarities that the game has
(Grant Hill, Tim Duncan, Paul Pierce).

Antoine can behave however he chooses, so long as he continues his current off court
record I really do have no complaints and I do not see why anyone else should either.

You can call him lazy and whatnot and perhaps he is, but that is attitude, not
behaviour. Two completely different things.
