Re: Slam Dunk Contest Coming Back

I wish that each team had to nominate one player for the competition and that
they held the qualifiers for the finals on the first day and the eight or so that
got the most points qualified for the sunday.

I'd elect;

Atlanta - Isaiah Rider
Boston - Walter McCarty
Charlotte - Ricky Davis
Chicago - Randy Brown
Cleveland - Shawn Kemp
Dallas - Michael Finley
Denver - Antonio McDyess (or Ron Mercer)
Detroit - Jerry Stackhouse
Golden State - Antawn Jamison
Houston - Shandon Anderson
Indiana - Jonathan Bender
Clippers - Derek Anderson (or Lamar Odom)
Lakers - Kobe Bryant
Miami - Mark Strickland
Milwaukee - Ray Allen
Minnesota - Kevin Garnett
New Jersey - Who knows? Larry Hughes (potentially)?
New York - Latrell Sprewell / Marcus Camby
Orlando - Corey Maggette
Philadelphia - Allen Iverson
Phoenix - Shawn Marion
Portland - Jermaine O'Neal / Rasheed Wallace
Sacramento - Chris Webber
San Antonio - Tim Duncan (not flashy enough?)
Seattle - Ruben Patterson
Toronto - Vince Carter / Tracy McGrady
Utah - Bryon Russell
Vancouver - Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Washington - Rip Hamilton

Cheers,

W
