Walker, Barros et al.

It strikes me as odd that so many people on the list are still negative about
the prospects of this team. Boston fans must thrive on fatalism.
No Boston team is good enough unless they win a championship. We had a great history, but it's time to stop living in the
past.  We might be in the middle of a mini slump but right now we're a flawed,
immature, yet overachieving team. We will get better as the team gets older.
	Look at how many things are going right right now. Kenny and Pervis are healthy,
which is a miracle. Pierce is beginning to show the capacity to be one of the
best players in the league. We have two gritty, underrated workhorses in
Griffin and Potapenko and a rebouding monster when Fortson gets back. Even
our perpetual whipping boy Walker is better this year.For all of his mental
flaws Walker is a player that we can't afford to lose. He has never been
accused of not caring about winning. He's beginning to show flashes of the
complete game he hinted at when he came into the league.This team will have its
failings. But it will have its successes. Look at this team. Has there been any
team since Larry left that we could actually call a Celtics team? Just look at
the grit this team has shown for its age. Nobody's whined. Noone's gotten
arrested. Nobody's trying a marburyesque hijacking of the team. So far this has
been the best season
