Re: Pitino and Cousy

Whether or not Cousy was a good coach, and I think he admits he wasn't, he has as much right to criticize Pitino as we do, and many of us have, whether we like him or not.  Maybe you're happy to see Couz go, but many of us are not.  Please respect that we respect Cousy as a player and as a color man or whatever you wish to call it.  For my money, he was one of the greatest to ever play the game, and the best at his position, bar none.  Do you say those things just to start an argument?  I'll not say any more about it because Cousy's earned the right (to anyone who calls themselves a Celtics fan) to say whatever he thinks about the game he loves and has excelled at.  He says it publicly, too - and many of us respect that as well as many other things about him.  He's one of a special few among many who were great Celtic players.  I will miss him.

C'mon Cous openly negatively discussed on the air Pitino's coaching habits.
Like Cous was a good coach. Cous bit the hand that fed him. Enjoy his 10
games this season. This is his swan song.
