I agree with Warwick that Ben Wallace (8.3 rebounds, 1.96 blocks) is a pretty
nice player for his age (25 in September). I saw him twice last year in games
against the Celtics (it turns out, he had 26 rebounds, 10 offensive boards and 4
blocks and 4 fouls). I'd rather have guys with his approach to the game than guys
like Rasheed Wallace. Ben Wallace is kind of a taller Danny Fortson, minus the
offensive game and excellent free throw shooting ability. Ike Austin has rare
Potapenko size but his numbers were nothing to write home about (9.7 points and
4.8 rebounds in 25.7 minutes). He's a career 4.9 rebound guy plus he's 30 years
old, so there might not be as much upside as the Wiz expect from him.

I hope the Celtics are now FINALLY better than Orlando next year, especially with
Chuck Daly retired. On the other hand, I don't blame Doc Rivers for cleaning
house. I assume he's not done trading. The problem is that he doesn't have
anything but role players left. Maybe Bo could go for a top flight designated
scorer?
