I think it's worth noting that the roster as assembled
has only a couple guys who are 
1 position players. I'd say Kenny is only a PG, Turner
is only a PG,Vitaly is only a 
C. Look at the rest of the players:

Walker- Has actually played all 5 positions at one
time or another during his career. 
Eric Williams-SF, but with his inside moves can play
PF against a small lineup
Chaney-SG and SF
Battie-SF,PF & C
McCarty-SF,PF
Fortson-PF,C
Griffin-SG,SF
Pierce-SG,SF
Washington-SG,PG
Barros-PG,SG

Ellison-PF,C,IR
Minor-SG,SF,IR

It's the making of an incredibly interchangeable
group. I different lineup for any 
occasion. Of course, it will all take time to mesh,
But there are some really nice 
pieces to put out there. 

On another tangent....I really hate Craig Mustard and
anyone else with him on the 
"Big Show" on WEEI. What arrogance. He's annouced that
he will run Pitino out on 
rails, just he did Joe Morgan (Former Red Sox Manager)
back in '91. Says all this 
Playoff talk is just Pitino's way of giving himself an
escape clause at the end of the 
year. I can pick apart Mustard like this:

1) The Red Sox replaced Joe Morgan with Butch Hobson.
Great move. So who 
does he think the Celtics should replace RP with? Leo
Papile? 

2) If Pitino in reality doesn't want to make the
playoffs, as Mustard is intimating, 
why all these moves? If he wanted to tank the season,
he could've just stood pat. 

What an Idiot. What's worse is when ever bigger morons
like Fred Smerlas start 
talking like basketball experts. When I hear THAT
Ignoramous talking, I want to put 
my fist through the radio.
