Not unless the NBA is going to move the line back to where it was, I
suspect. Although, his decline seems to have come before the line moved,
which is odd.

I'm really sure he thinks of both of these guys, and Griffin too, as two's
who can play three in a pinch (like Minor and Bowen). Someone said this is
the last year of Washington's contract. If that's true, I'd expect him to
be Dontae'd. None of these guys is near as talented as Eric Williams, and
then there's his boy Walter, in addition to, what's his name, oh yeah,
Antoine. If anyone was wondering if Minor would be back, I'd say this just
about rules that out. He must be hurt pretty bad, unfortunately. And, have
they cut Bowen yet, or what. There's no way, though, that either of these
players impacts Walker.

So why, as someone else asked, didn't Pitino spend he exception on a center?
Maybe he's expecting Fortson and Battie to share the backup minutes there.
You know, if Williams and McCarty are going to play at all, Walker's going
to spend some time at power forward. Maybe there's simply no one out there
worth 2 mil. They're all either better than that, or minimum wage stiffs.
