More Fortson trade talk

"ESPN's David Aldridge reported late Monday night that Boston and Denver 
are seriously considering a major three-for-three trade.

According to Aldridge, the Celtics were considering sending Ron Mercer, 
Popeye Jones and Dwayne Schintzius to the Nuggets for Danny Fortson, 
Eric Williams and Eric Washington."

Some salary and stat info:

Danny Fortson is in the last year of his rookie contract and is eligible
for an extension (similar to Battie and Mercer). His rookie contract 
is worth a total of three years and $4.45M.

Eric Williams is entering the second year of his six year, $26M contract
extension. 

Eric Washington is entering the second year of his two year, $1.1M 
contract. He's 6'4" and 190 lbs but listed as a forward on NBA.com.
20.0 mpg, 5.4 ppg (39.7% fg, 38.1% 3fg), 2.3 rpg, 0.8 apg. I think
he's a three point specialist shooting guard. Probably he's there
just to make the salaries work out although Pitino would probably
say lots of nice things about him at the press conference.
