Concerned for the new season yet?

Wow!  Is this season looking like it will crumble before it starts or
what?

Walker on the block, with no takers apparently.  There has to be an
issue between Walker and Pitino going on.  Not to mention an ego problem
waiting to happen as he tries to prove he is "The Man", on his own
terms.

Mercer on the block without any interested parties?  This won't lead to
any "pass first to the open man" ball movement.  More like a "Mercer
showcase show".

VP didn't show well in the summer league according to reports.  Against
that competition he should have excelled.  What is he going to do
against real NBA centers?

Anderson on the block without any interested parties?  Oh my gawd!  With
all the teams out there needing a point guard?  Will he play Pitino ball
this year or Anderson ball?  Is his divorce over so he can concentrate
this year?
If I see him laughing on the sidelines during a loss, like last year,
I'll go nuts.

T. Battie is playing well according to reports.  But not well enough to
start at 4 apparently.

Barros will be his usual professional self when camp opens.  Which means
he'll be traded.

Walter M. will be ready to play to the best of his ability.

Dywane S. couldn't be found so he couldn't be included in summer ball?
C'mon!  It's not like he didn't need the work.  If he wasn't hanging
around Waltham, why not?

P. Jones:  Will he be able to play again?  Contribute again?

Minor:  Will he be able to play again?  This kid has had a rough few
years.  It's a shame really.

Ellison: Enough said.

Pierce: Let's hope he continues to progress.  All sounds well so far.

The new guy and Turner may be interesting on the second team.


I'm not turning in my tickets, but the start of camp doesn't sound very
good.  Particularly if the first half of the season is used to showcase
players for a trade before the deadline instead "the starters" learning
to play the way the coach wants them to.

Any thoughts?
