Re: Remember Michael Smith?



The Celtics drafted Smith in 1989 and I think he played two seasons for
them.  Then he was in Spain for a while, and turned up playing for the
Clippers at the tail end of the 94-95 season, where he pretty much just
sat on the bench.

If I remember right, not to open up old wounds any further than they
already have been, Red Auerbach was the only one who wanted to draft
Smith; the rest of the brain trust apparently wanted Hardaway.
