Heat game

This game should take the edge off of the boo-birds, at least as far as
Walker is concerned. People will still boo him, just to be stupid, but Walker
will always know, in the back of his mind, that he had the stuff to shut them
up before and could do it again. A pivotal moment in his development...The
Celts played well overall especially since they were playing 4 on 5 (more on
this in a minute). If Battie could just hit those many short, baseline
jumpers that I know he can hit and Pierce could shoot his normal percentage,
this game would have been close throughout. In the NBA, if you get an open
shot within your range and you are a veteran, you pretty much nail it every
time. The C's are so young, they just don't hit the open shot consistently.
The Heat hit just about every open shot. We will be there in time. That is
why we need to keep this team together except for Anderson and Barros... The
biggest problem on offense right now is that Barros is such a detrement to
the team. He just kills the offense. In how many pick and rolls has he missed
the open pick guy? Anytime Barros has the ball in the half-court set, unless
he is shooting, you can forget about us scoring that time down. On Jones's
first play, he hit the open pick guy on the pick and roll. It was like we had
never seen that executed before. Tommy about had a heart attack. If we can
just get him to stop thinking he is the first option, we got a player. It's
just unbelievable that a CBA player can come in and have better fundamentals
than our two point guards, and plays great defense...Vitally continued to
show he is a real center...As for Walker, what need anybody say? He let his
play do the talking...
