For all the crap I have thrown out recently (mea culpa) the recent draft
reports available to us all give wonderful marks to Turner, especially in
the areas of tough, up tempo and most importantly defense.  IF we have a 2nd
rounder to use (what is the final conclusion on what our picks are for this
draft PERIOD) then Turner is probably a very good gamble and then when he
does come through the real Ray can step forward as the unpaid GM, because if
this is true he has been there all along.  Thanks,

That would be a cheaper solution than dealing Mercer for a PF.  Of
course,
then there would be the problem of finding minutes for Pierce, Mercer,
and Walker; also a replacement point guard (I will be shocked if Wayne
Turner isn't with the C's next season.)
