Arbitrator's Decision To Come This Week

According to Peter May in today's Boston Globe, sources have indicated that the 
arbitrator, John Feerick, will render his decision this week on the guaranteed
salaries issue.

I think a verdict for the owners, i.e. non-payment of guaranteed contracts 
during a lockout, will add a great deal of impetus to the players to modify 
their positions, and get the negotiations rolling again... And rolling is 
something the players know a great deal about... Light one up for me Wobert 
Pawish (as Bob Cousy would say).
