RE: Lockout Pool, neat ideas

Well how about an optimistic idea for a change:

Sign AW for somewhere less than 100MM.
(He plays like a total stud, nearly making 1st team all league)

W/ the new CBA Pierce will be locked up for 5 years
(Plays like the stud we know he will be)

Mercer will re-sign under the modified LBE for life
(Under terms both can live with, because Ron wants to get to the Conference
finals this year, not just past the 1st round like in the 1999 playoffs)

Anderson stays healthy, plays 80 games (Enough said)

Michael Stewart signs for about 4MM per year, playing about 30 minutes a
game. Scoring about a half dozen a game, but DOMINATING with 10 boards and
3 blocks a game.

Alvin Williams signed for new exempt contract allowed under new CBA.
Valuable back-up to KA, that allows RP to utilize Dana strictly as a
sharpshooter, which no one can argue he does best.

Declerq, Knight, Bowen, McCarty continue to play key bench roles which they
are best suited for.

Naive ideas and optimism, probably, but this is the stuff I like to talk
about and Warwick stayed awake thinking about.

Let's get this freaking lockout over with, let's have a group list hug, and
go back to planning our days around reading Bill's brilliant game summaries.
