In the interviews I saw after game three, several of the players,
including Van Exel and O'Neal, flat out said Utah wanted it more, and that
Utah was the better team.  They sounded very blase about it, as if they
werre thinking more about their summertime plans rather than gearing
themselves up for a last stand.  No heart at all.

I don't think many of the Lakers are prepared to sacrifice what's
necessary to become a championship team - which isn't a crime (hey, if
Shaq wants to rap, more power to him) but it will prevent any of them
being truly great players in my mind.  And there aren't any championships
in sight.
