Re: Ike Austin



Hey Bentz,

How's everything with the X man these days?  I wasn't jumping on anyone but
I apologize to Dorine if she thinks I was.  I think there was sound logic in
moving Austin.  He certainly was looking for the chance to play more
regularly, and that fact that he played so well during Zo's injury increased
his marketability.  Miami still made the playoffs without him and wins with
Mourning's presence, I think.

"Slick" gave the Knicks full credit for the win afterwards saying that they
got outplayed at the 2 and 3 positions.  Van Gundy ended his remarks by
saying that the better team won.  Curious comments which will be posted in
the Heat lockerrom next year, I'm sure.
