There is no hope of getting McDyess through free agency even if the C's had
the cap room. He likes it in Phoenix..and in all probability will sign
there. There was a small chance of getting him last jan or Feb when the
Sun's were unhappy with him and there were rumors that he was on the trading
block. Either Rick didn't show any interest or didn't make a good offer. -
