I think everyone's problem here is not that Walker does the wiggle, but that he can't back it up in his play. If Walker was Michael Jordan, then he could flap his gums or do the "Chicken Dance" in the middle of the floor all he wants and no one would care. So say that, don't go off on how "we wouldn't do this in our day" because it's all bull. If Gary Payton came to this team, you'd all be thanking your rosary beads and screaming "Hallelujah" that the Lord Almighty will save the Celts.

Part of the problem with some of this discussion is the fact that some respondents question the issues.  For example, I replied once that I am not in favor of Walker's flamboyant actions because it was discouraged by the coaches who taught me how to play.  They are men who I consider as great teachers of fundamentals, consistency and teamwork.  I have patterned my coaching philosophy very successfully at the minor basketball level (11&12 year olds), high school, and college.  I DO NOT ALLOW MY PLAYERS TO SHOWBOAT.  I don't see the same positive results forthcoming from it.  Instead, I have seen fistfights occur, and malicious, deliberate screens with elbows up high.  And when the player with the most to say is mediocre from the line, he sets himself up to be the object of the fans wrath.

My teams need all their energy to play defense.  We rest on offense.  That is my choice as a coach.  You can believe it's bullshit if you like Kevin, though I can't see how you would since I have nothing to gain by making such a statement, and would be running the risk that someone who may know me could dispute that fact if I'm lying.  The truth is there are many listees who have a problem with Toine's antics and it is within our rights to foster such an opinion.  I respect your opinion.  All I ask is that your respect those who may differ from yours.  Even if he backed it up, as you say, I STILL WOULDN'T LIKE IT!!
