trash talk

Xavier McDaniel has opened a sports bar here in Columbia. I went by to
see him a few weeks ago and mentioned the comments that someone posted
about Larry's character in the Rodman movie.  The comments were that
they made Larry out to be a trash talker like Reggie in New York.

X said that Larry was one of the biggest trash talkers in the league,
but that he did it under his breath and to mess with your mind, not to
show out for the crowd.  In other words, it had a purpose, to take the
opponent out of his game.

X also said that Larry is cool.

So, with regard to Toine and his trash talking, if he is acting out and
drawing attention from the crowd, he needs to can that.  He needs to
learn how to use it as a weapon to get into people's head.
