I read where Dirk Nowitzki, the Teutonic Tom Chambers, has withdrawn from the draft to play in Europe this year. Can we draft him with our top pick and let him play in Europe for a few years and still retain his draft rights? I thought that if you draft a foreign player that you retain the right to sign him for all eternity. I'd say it would be a pretty good gamble. Ken
