E. Williams trade

The trade with Eric Williams was difficult because it needed to be
with a team with enough cap room to take him. There were relatively
few of these teams and most already had plans for their cap room.
Anyways, as second-round picks go, Denver's were likely to be pretty
good (early 2nd round). In fact, didn't Seattle give their first
rounder (Bobby Jackson) to Denver for two 2nd round picks? The talent
difference between late first round and early second round can be
pretty small in many drafts.

The person who posted that we could have not signed Massenburg and
then gotten Mills and kept Williams is right. But it wasn't really
that obvious that Massenburg would be a bust; it was Red Auerbach who
was a big Massenburg promoter.
