Bird success, etc.

Just my 2 cents about Bird's success vs. Celtics.

As my dad and I were sitting at the game on Sunday,
getting caught up in the moment of the C's Glory days,
we were amazed to think about all the former Celtics
who are current/former coaches or General Managers in the NBA.

As a lifelong Celtic, I wouldn't expect any less from guys
like Larry Bird to come back and want very dearly to kick some
butt on the C's.  The success of guys like Cowens, McHale,Ainge,etc.
even against the C's says a lot about the Celtics organization and
how they've treated professionalism and how much they respect the game
and competition.

It's the same in other sports where former 49ers people are all over
the league.  That too says a lot about their organization.  To be able
proliferate their success beyond their team throughout the league and
ultimately improve the game as a whole, not just in SanFran.

Just my thoughts.
