Late Starts

We are starting our offense way too late. Must be nerves. Because when we
start scoring we do reasonably well. We fall behind and have to play catch
up every game. At least were winning the games were supposed to win, at
least according to most of us. The 1st year players may be getting a little
tired, including McCarty because he didn't play much w/Knicks last season.
This is a hectic pace and I do see us slowing down on defense a little. We
won't beat the upper level teams because they just coast after building up
a big lead. Our next 10 games we could go 0-10 against the upper level
teams. If this happens we shouldn't be discouraged because we have achieved
our goal so far this season, getting respectable and re-building. Everyones
predicting trades. Maybe wishful thinking. What we really want to give up,
no one wants. Dee Brown's and Minor's fortunes may change if they can hook
up with a team and get playing time. They won't get it here.
