Walker as an All Star with shoes

Walker is certainly playing All Star game this uear, but think about this a
moment.  What do the Cs get out of Twon becoming an all star?  In this day
and age of fierce contract negotiation, a spot on the East team for AW will
just be even more ammo for Fulk to get the Cs to mortgage the team.  Now I'm
not a big fan of all star games at the best of times....If I had a choice
I'd be ar a good college game or comething instead, so maybe I just don't
see the point.  I would like AW to be an All Star because he deserves it,
but if he is not, then maybe we might just have a better chance of getting
that help for him that everyone wants so bad.

As for shoe commercials, I mean who really cares about which marketbale face
they stick on the latest slick add.  These decisions are not that basketball
related anymore.  As dor which shoe to get, how about the COnverse Larry
Bird "All Star Legend" for $85 at the Bruins Pro SHop.
