I  have to side with Steve on this one.  We stood pat for 10 years doing 
nothing or making ignorant draft selections and trades.  Yeah M.L made the 
trade with Dallas, he made a lot of other stinkers also.  Just because he 
made the trades to get us Walker, and with Pitino's ploy Mercer, do we also 
thrash him for the Billups selection  also, or give him the praise him for 
the Kenny Anderson deal ? Do we give Dave Gavitt credit on the Anderson 
deal cause if he would not have signed Dee Brown the big $ deal we might 
not have been within the 15% limit on salary ?   It will be up to Rick 
Pitino & company to build this team with the right pieces and he will get 
the glory or the heat as M.L. & Gavitt will be years removed.
