C's Big Win

Couldn't have come at a more opportune time for Pitino. Regardless of
any future ramifications of this trade, the critics must ease back and
smile at the relative ease with which Kenny Anderson assumed control last
night.

I will remain a fan of Billups, but as I previously stated, this is my
team and I intend to remain with them, just as I have during the leaner
years.

My impression last night was that most guys have had the weight lifted
from their shoulders. All the trade talk certainly had to be a
distraction. Mercer and McCarty's names came up in trade rumors on this
list almost as frequently as Chauncey and Dee. Unquestionably they
breathed a sigh of relief after Feb. 19 came and went and they were
still in Kelly Green.

By the way, I noticed that Billups had a breakaway 2-handed dunk last
night in the Raptors loss to Milwaukee. I wasn't sure he could jam. Do
you think he was too inhibited to show that he could here, or is he so
relieved now that he isn't scared to try?

P.S. Let's kick some Blazer butt tomorrow!
