Yeah he should have.  I bet he planed on doing all of that guard swaping!
He expected Billups to be able to make an adjustment to an uptempo style.
The kid couldn't.  So he doesn't get posted up,  what difference does it
make if he can't run OUR offense.

As for your your assertion that Pitino didn't go after Duncan and Van
Horn.  What the hell are you talking about?  He called San Antonio in less
than 5 mins after the draft lottery, to try and get the guy.  But San
Antonio isn't a bunch of morons.  Why the hell would they give up
Duncan?!?  And as for Van Horn,  I don't know how we could have beat what
New Jersey gave Philly for his draft rights.  Jim Jackson, Eric Montross
and the draft rights to Tim Thomas and Anthony Parker.  And I'm sure that
Pitino tried.  If there is one thing we should all know by know is that
Pitino is not afraid to deal.
