ANOTHER THOUGHT

Well, the deal went down, we'll just have to hope for the best.  Can't
help thinking though, it would have been nice to keep Chauncy and get a
real point, then play Chauncy at the shooting guard.  Might have made
all the difference in the world.  He might have been accustomed to a
half court offense, but he is certainly athletic and didn't have any
trouble getting up and down the floor.  I'll miss him.  I was hoping we
could keep all these guys together and watch them mature.

On another note, I don't like Scottie Pippin and I never have.
Especially since the famous episode where he wouldn't go back in a
playoff game because he wasn't designated to make the final shot.  I'll
never forget that.  These guys not reporting to the teams to whom they'd
been traded was peanuts compared to that action of Pippin's. He had a
hard time, for years, playing second banana to Jordan.  What do you
think would be the effect on Antoine if Pippin came here?  Pippin will
not want to take a back seat to Antoine, he will want to be "the man".
I hope Pippin never wears Celtic green.  I've been a Celtic fan all my
adult life, never wavering, but this could do it.
