This trade disastrous?

I'm not sure either. First, I've always liked Kenny Anderson's game. He's a
fine point guard. He's not spectacular...but he's certainly the best point
the Celtics have had in years. He is the quintessential "solid" player.
Concerning his attitude, please, he's not a boy scout but he also wasn't a
cancer on the Blazers. I have no problem with his attitude. Can he play
Pitino's uptempo game? He's not as quick as he once was, but he's
definitely better suited than Billups. If he stays healthy, and that's a
huge "if," the answer, I think, is yes. I thought we'd have to include
Billups to move Brown. Thomas and Rogers were going nowhere. I assume that
since Tabak and Jones are injured they go immediately on the IR and are
never heard from again. The team gains an extra 2.3 million in cap space at
the end of the year when the team lets them go. Assuming the cap goes up by
4 mil.(?) at the end of the year, that gives the Celtics a little over 6
mil. to play with. Yes? No? I think, now I could be wrong about this too,
but I think Anderson is defitiely a tradeable commodity. If I'm right about
the cap consequences of this trade, perhaps it's not, as some have
suggested, a total disaster. Down the road his salsry definitiely hurts.
But he's tradeable.
