Re: Bill Walton



I'm not about to bite your head off.  I don't believe anyone in their right
mind would condone what he did, but it's a sign of the times that we seem to
think we deserve to know everything about anyone in the spotlight.  I think
Marv was a knowledgeable, well prepared announcer, I just never cared for
the hesitation in his speech, so he was not one of my personal favorites.  I
think Walton is fine, even though his method of speaking can be irritating.
I mind Isiah Thomas much more.  As a TV analyst, he's better off playing
basketball, even though he threw temper tantrums.
