RE: Bill Walton

At the risk of getting flamed, let me come out here and say that I'm one
of the very few who likes Walton's commentary. Yes, he makes outrageous
comments, but he does so in a sarcastic vein and they are not to be
taken seriously. Yes, he also makes some ill-advised comments (he once
said "Dennis Rodman should take over the game" and when asked
"Heeooowww?" by Steve Jones, couldn't come up with an answer!), but I
prefer his honesty to Isiah's arrogance or Bob Costas' drooling over
Jordan and Bryant. 

Damn, I really do miss Marv and his dry sense of humour. True, he had a
tendency to bite women when aroused (or dress up like one), but I still
want to see him back at his job - announcing games. Which takes me into
a topic that's off the list, so I'll stop here. (No, Dorine, I don't
condone his predilections, so please don't bite my head off!!).
