I love Trent's game, but i wouldn't touch him.  He's been arested 3 times this year.  The last time for marching into a business and attacking someone.  (Previously for domestic violence and failure to pay fines on false alarms)  He has been ordered to take anger management counselling multiple times.  Portland has been trying to get rid of him for a while.  He is very strong physically, and has a good offensive power game, but he is very short for a power forward.  If Pitino has trouble with Eric Williams, there is no way he would want Trent.

One of the rumours posted on the trade rumour mill at the ESPN site
is Blazers' Gary Trent for Dennis Scott....apparently the problem
is the matching salaries. Why would Blazers want to do this trade?
{Even Dallas papers are talking this rumour...so may be true}
Scott has been mediocre...and except for some "personal" problems,
Trent has played super at PF.

Is there anyway Celts could prompt Blazers to deal Trent to us for
someone.....Trent makes only 1.39 million {ESPN data} and would fill
our void of a big bruising body to complement Walker at the other
forward position than paper thin McCarty.

When does Trent  become a free agent ? Comments please....
