That's one reason why the deal has not happend. The Warriors want Nick Anderson
+ a) Orlando's 1st round pick <which shouldn't be a big deal> if the Warriors
draft at or beyond #4 or (b) the right to the 1st round pick that warriors will
have to send to the Magic, should they finish within 1-3 in the draft lottery.

2nd round pick won't cut it, Warriors want atleast 1 first round pick. Teams
like Atlanta are willing to offer a Ist rounder.

Joe Smith is not a bust but he is not an elite player too. He has a good
offensive game and has the quickness to play swarming type of zone defense that
Pitino employs. Pitino needs to take a chance here with Joe in the lineup, we
will get the scoring threat we need and will have a good chance to make the
play-offs without sacrificing any of Mercer, Billups or Walker.
