Nope. He's no longer under contract with the Cs, so any new contract he
signs is irrelevant to their obligation to him. They didn't just renounce
his rights, continuing to pay him under the terms of the original contract,
they *bought him out* (the Greek offer merely made him willing to be bought
out, it had nothing to do with the Cs legal ability to release him or the
terms of the buyout).  Which means that contract no longer exists. His
current cap status is a result of the buyout, rather than the terms of the
original contract (although the terms of the buyout were themselves a
function of what he could have earned under that contract). Because of the
buyout, he's only on their cap for this year, so that's not a big concern.
