The whole truth

Here's an interesting column from The Globe, by a writer who feels the 
owners are being less than forthcoming with the financial facts.  I have 
no problem with the players wanting to see the books, although I see no 
need for them to be made public (if the team is privately held).  I do 
think it is astounding that the players would agree to compensation that 
is based on revenues without having some way of verifying them.
