Is this right?

Now, if this is correct, I know the players are going down in flames
with poor leadership.  The article says:

If this is correct, then there is first, 1 billion in salaries.  Then,
the players get 50%+ of the additional 2 billion pie.  That is over 2
billion in money and they are not satisfied?  Surely this can not be
correct!
