I have avoided talking about the draft, esp. since we will probably trade the
pick, but now that Matt Geiger has sat out five games INCLUDING A PLAYOFF GAME
because of a SORE HAMSTRING, I am warier than ever about paying a white big
man serious money.  they are just too fragile.  Either draft a young one like
Doleac, whom I like a lot, or Brian Skinner, who may be even better.  I
wouldn't be surprised to see the latter rise on draft day.  Garrity I saw
plenty at ND, where I went for three years, and he's a journeyman in the
making.  Still, the problem is that young big men almost never contribute.
Maybe Stewart is the answer -- he may have the biggest upside of all.  Why
does Peter May say we don't have enough money for a major FA acquisition?
esp. if we move travis w/the pick.
