Give Rick a chance

I think everyone should lay off Rick at least for a year. He has a proven
track record everywhere he has coached. Also, would we rather have M.L.
back and our 15 win team. Granted they were better than their record but
not a playoff contention team. Rick's approach to cleaning house proves he
is not standing around and accepting losing. He is creating a team that he
feels can compete. I see alot of people disagree with his approach. I
feel there is only two coaches in the league. Pat Riley and Rick Pitino.
The rest just want to be like them. I dont want to hear Phil Jacksons
name. A monkey could coach that team. The reason no one agrees with Ricks
approach because the NBA has gone away with team play and chemistry.
Individuals want to pad there stats so when free agency comes they can get
paid. Rick approach is team play. He needs twelve players that want to
play and win and do what ever it takes. If that includes hurting your
stats to win so be it. Riley has the same approach. He cleared the Heat
and got players who can play his style. The only true stars are Hardaway
and the overrated Mourning. Having a team full of all stars does not
always equal championships. Look at the Lakers and the Clippers of about 8
years ago. Team work and chemistry win championships. Granted you do need
a couple all stars to go along with a bunch of role players who know their
role and accept it. Give Rick a chance and you will see he will have the
Celtics in the playoffs in a couple years.
