While I'm very disappointed and concerned with Billups - it is important to
realize that different players adapt to the pro's on different time tables.
Billups was a 2 yr college player, Larry redshirted and then played 4 more.
He was much more mature and wasn't asked to play frantic basketball (which I
enjoy). So let's keep our fingers crossed and hope he develops - hey,
McCarthy averaged 1.8 as a rook and we have high hopes for him!
