I want the players to get their fair share, but I don't want
90% of the salary cap space to go to one player on the team.

I have no idea what NBA teams bring in for revenue. If the Twolves
are bringing in $100 million per year, then maybe KG $17 mill slice
doesn't seem so big. But I doubt that it's that high. And I don't
think KG is worth that much more than Googs or Marbury (relatively
speaking). I'd want to keep those players around too, and they still
need a SG and C to be legit contenders. I know Googs and Marbury won't
be restricted by the salary cap, but they will be restricted by the
reality that the club doesn't bring in enough money to pay each of
them a salary based on their relative value to the team. KG 17m, Googs
12m, and Marbury 13m. No way could the average NBA team afford to pay that
to 3 players plus a 9 other roster spots. Lakers, Bulls, Knicks might
have that kind of money, but I doubt the C's could compete with that.

If that's what happens with our 2 rookies and Walker, we'd be killed.
I'd love it if the C's could convince the players that giving any
one player an exhorbitant contract would cripple the organization from
competing in the league and in the FA market to make the club better.

I don't know, TV revenues are probably sky high right now. But if teams
are bringing in that much money, why can't they lower the ticket prices a bit.
