Re: Richmond to Celtics

A Sacramento radio station today reported a rumor that the Kings were going
to  send  All-star Mitch Richmond to the Celtics for it's two #1 draft
picks.  It's well  known that Richmond is tired of playing for a loser and
wants out of 
 Sacramento.  That would go along with Pitino trying out late lottery
picks, if  the Kings sent their #1 pick to the Celts along with Richmond. 
But Pitino  already said the Celtics need a center and a point guard.  Now
what team has a  center that Richmond would want to play for?.....

I don't have any faith in this rumor.  Why would Pitino mortgage this teams
future for a guard with a few productive years left.  I love Richmond,  but
I don't see him in the Celtics future,  especially for both draft picks. I
would prefer Sprewell & Smith, they have a lot of mileage left. As for
trying out late lottery picks, Daniels & Foyle are projected to go 5-8 from
what I have seen.
