You also have to consider that by the time he was ready to play again, they
had nothing to play for. Chuck Person was probably also available for duty,
but he was held back as well. Why bring him back for pride? I really can't
blame SA for not bringing huim back and risking further injury. It's kinda
like 1987-88 when Larry might have been available for the playoffs, but the
Celtics wisely chose not to bring him back too soon.

And yes, SA could use a PF. Any team that has to resort to Carl Herrera or
Will Perdue as the starting PF needs an upgrade at that position.
